ABOUT THE AUTHOR

When I write, I have a chance to give back what’s been invested in me. Spiced with a past that has led me to live in states all over the US, I've also lived in four different countries across Europe. This has supplied me with a palette full of colors...and plenty of writing material! So come and explore my mind and look at life through my lens. Create. Inspire. Repeat!

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I'm a skill collector. My interests vary. I love to be outdoors. I love the sea and swimming. Walking. Skiing. Rockhounding. I'm a Bible scholar. I paint and design. I write songs, too. If I'm not writing, you can find me following the sun.

When and why did you start writing books?

I was ten when I began writing. A life full of illness, writing was therapy for me. A way of understanding my world. Of doing something positive with my pain and isolation.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

When I felt like I was good enough for this to become a possibility.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Ooooh! Tricky, this one. My favorite character is Jordan in a book coming out soon.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

This is a book series I'm working on called Three Generations from Budapest. It's a family saga based on a true story and exposes my childhood. When you write a book, you have to do many edits. So, I had to relive my childhood and some of its painful moments over and over again, and it emotionally exhausted me.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I have two. One is Tolstoy and the other Dickens, particularly A Christmas Carol.

What book are you reading right now?

Right now I'm writing, and when I'm writing a book, I don't read books so I don't influence and change the writing style mid-stream. That would be like a guitarist changing his strings in the middle of a recording a song.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

Through observation, music, and meditation.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Traveling...at least in pre-Covid years.

Do you have any new books in the works?

I have eleven books I'm working on. No...I'm not joking! For a description of each, you have to visit my website, Writeious Books.
