ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I was born on 14 March 1986 to parents Cinderella May Bailey – Ellis and Albert George Ellis on Ranford Estate in a District known as Retirement, a little neighbourhood in St. Mary. I loved it as every dream I had was there and everything ‘me,’ began there. I was born at my home, and in that same house, I grew up until I migrated to Kingston (Town). As a youngster, I was always interested in advocating and lobbying (advocate in my skin). At one point I envisioned being a lawyer.

I had BIG dreams, and I am still a tycoon of dreams. In early childhood days, I could remember just ‘dreaming’ with my friend and telling of how I wanted to transform the neighbourhood centre and how I wanted to see developments- a plaza here, a house there and great businesses. I dreamt BIG again when I began my own business. Gifted with a voice, I wanted to become the ultimate ‘Jamaican Celine Dion.’ I DREAMT BIG.

In my pursuit of BIG, I began my journey studying at The University of the West Indies. Thereafter, I went to work at the Ministry of Justice; nothing equivalent to my accomplished degree - but I still wanted to do something BIG though I started small. In fact, afterwards, I became a Supervisor at a private company. However, my hope has always been to become an Executive within institutions
