Not The Boy Next Door: Book 6 of The two Timer Series

Adam Potter’s family’s annual Pumpkin event was approaching and he was looking forward to taking his fiancé Patrick Valdez. He wasn’t expecting someone to walk into his office and ask him to find his husband. And to find out the husband’s name is Waldo Amherst a client who told Adam he feared someone was after him and leaves a folder with the detective telling him not to open it unless he goes missing.
Adam also has to figure out why Patrick claimed Adam came home drunk and brutally attacked him the night before. Adam has no memory of the attack but still begs Patrick for forgiveness. Patrick forgives him but believes the attack was manifested from Adam’s nightmares from his childhood that he won’t come to terms with.
Adam takes the case and he and Justin follow the clues to a remote motel called Somass that’s not only surrounded by dense wood but also shrouded with secrets neither man wanted to know.

PART II:
Devin Murphy found his lost family and twin brother Adam his surrogate mother kept him from most of his life. He was going to the Potter farm with his aunt to enjoy a Pumpkin event his family host every year. His fears of not fitting in are wiped away as he’s embraced into the family.
The Potter family waited for their lost son’s arrival and couldn’t wait to embrace him into the family. They knew Devin had a hard life and wanted his time with them to be special so they were thrilled when he said he would come to their annual Pumpkin event. Then strange things start happening when a fence is damaged and the Potter’s pumpkin patch is destroyed. They’re approached by a man and his so-called son in their SUV asking for directions to the event and then offering to replace the lost crop. Chris gets strange vibes from the pair who said they were from a town he never heard of called WillowMoss.

PART III
Patrick needed time away from Adam and returned to his penthouse for refuge. There he invited his ex-lover Yuri Jin. Yuri comforted him but also confessed his love for him. Patrick wasn’t having it and wanted to go home. But Adam called and told him he was leaving town on business which angered Patrick who wanted to be pampered. They attended a party that was a disaster where Patrick almost caused a scene. When Yuri took him home Patrick found a note from Adam, causing him to forgive him. Yuri had to leave for an emergency leaving Patrick alone when he gets attacked by an intruder.
This was A. J. Chance’s last chance to prove he deserve a promotion. All he and his partner Artie Cutter had to do was keep Patrick safe and find out who attacked him.
Easy; expect it wasn’t. A. J. doubts about how Patrick was attacked surface and he risks everything to prove himself right. Even Patrick’s safety when he allowed him to leave a hotel to go to his and Adam’s old apartment alone. Then goes behind Artie’s back and questions Patrick which at first leads to nowhere then he’s attacked and Patrick is kidnaped.
