In Book I of this series, you were introduced to Jonathan West and Kathryn Denise Kramer in the year 2024.  Jonathan was 18 and a new student living with the Kramer family when he met and became friends with the 98-year-old Kathryn Denise Kramer.  During the three years prior to her death, Jonathan and Kathryn (Denise) grew very close. When she died at age 101 Jonathan gave the eulogy at her funeral. However, he missed that close relationship very dearly and remembered her comments about a portal and 1947 and the bottom floor. He had to find out if he could actually go back in time and see her just one more time. He did and found her and they married and began a journey of adventure and danger.  That continues in this second book.
