Let’s flip the script: let’s start at the end. Because, when I look back, I’m proud of who I’ve become. After years of relentless effort, I’ve earned the right to celebrate the journey—and the reward. Dyslexia and ADHD have been my lifelong companions, constantly whispering doubts, making me feel like I’d never measure up, like I was somehow less than. For years, I thought my struggles were weaknesses. But over time, I learned the truth: those very struggles forged my greatest strengths. They taught me resilience, creativity, and how to think outside the box when life refused to hand me a solution. If someone had told me 30 years ago that I’d become a psychologist—or even more implausibly, a writer—I would’ve laughed them off. But life has a way of surprising us. Here I am, with a degree, a published book, and not one but two more on the way. These days, I’m deeply immersed in the world of Young Adult fiction, and my newest novel has just been released. It hasn’t been an easy path, but it’s been worth every step. I’m living proof that even the steepest climb can lead to breathtaking views. Sometimes, the story you least expect to write turns out to be the one you were meant to tell all along.
