Right now my main focus is writing but I also love to crochet, read, watch classic TV, and learn new things.

When and why did you start writing books?

Writing comes naturally for me and I started this book, in particular to help in my healing process. I suffered from emotional trauma for a many years and the time had come to put it aside and let my pain help others.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I’m a wordsmith. I love words and truthfully how I communicate most easily is through writing.

I’m currently writing non-fiction but my favorite person to write about is my son.

This is my first book and it stretched me far. But I learned how truly capable I am.

My favorite of all time is The North and South Trilogy by John Jakes. I was in high school and I devoured the first book which was over 800 pages, in less than a week.

Currently reading A Shadow of a Murder by Lauren Carr.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

My inspiration comes from my son, and my interactions with friends who have helped me on this journey called life.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I enjoy writing and watching TV.

Do you have any new books in the works?

I am working on an as yet untitled book focused on developing a positive outlook.
