Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I write contemporary romances. Right now, they are set in Michigan, but I have one coming out in the summer that takes place in Kentucky. I write full-time but have two part-time jobs I love too much to give up. In the winter, I work at the Broadway theater, and in the summer, I teach people how to ride motorcycles and get them endorsed to ride on the rodes legally. My hobbies are, no surprise, reading, but I also love to travel, hike, and photograph.

When and why did you start writing books?

I started writing booking books about ten years ago. Have you heard the saying, "Write the books you want to read?" Well, that's me. Plus, I'm a pessimist, and writing romances gives me hope.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

Once I started writing, I couldn't stop, so I had to tackle it. And while it's a rollercoaster of highs and lows, I've met so many wonderful creatives that it makes the lows worth it (and they help me through them).

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

I adore them all for different reasons, but my favorite is always the one I'm currently writing.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

Before the one I'm working on now (Anchored Hearts), I would say Stormy Waters. While there is plenty of humor, it takes on some heavy topics. The research was difficult, and ensuring the representative was right was stressful.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I love so many authors. It is impossible to narrow it down to one. Currently, my top three are Christina Lauren, Emily Henry, Abby Jimenez.

What book are you reading right now?

Maggie Moves On by Lucy Score.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

Music and the people are me.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Sprea time? What's that? lol Being outside. I love to bike (motor and petel), walk, and photograph. Traveling is my favorite. And of course, reading.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Yes. I am writing the fourth book in my interconnected stand-alone series, Lake House Love. It should be out next spring and titled Anchored Hearts. I'm also working on a new book in a new series that will be out this summer. The series will be called Bourbon Billionaires, and the book will be titled The Bourbon Bet.
