ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr Ihator Brown lives in London, UK, but was born in Clarendon, Jamaica. He specialises in accountability, financial sustainability, and stakeholder perception toward youth charities. He is versatile in doing in-depth research on different sectors. Dr Brown, at age 17, with his parent's support, started a business importing snacks from the USA and sold them to his school canteen in Jamaica. He has over 18 years of extensive experience in management and consistently contributes to charities and youth organisations with over 500+ volunteer hours yearly.


Dr Brown has served over 9 years as an executive member of Kiwanis International-UK and is involved in the Chartering and sponsoring of 6 Social Clubs helping children. He created a Doctoral society club and has been a school academic board director for over 8 years, covering 5 schools in the UK.


He facilitated projects with over 28 countries, doing international youth exchanges with over 160 young people under the British Council Erasmus+, and mentored over 8 international young entrepreneurs over 6 months per entrepreneur sessions.


Dr Brown has received the following awards and recognitions: 12 Outstanding Achievements Awards (2008 – 2012), 2 Ruby Awards (2015-2016), Exceptional Service (2017), 3 Distinguished Memberships (2016-2019), Postgraduate Researcher Excellence Awards (2018), Winner twice of poster competitions (2018 and 2019).


Given Dr Brown's passion and hobbies, he has several cookbooks and many accountability-related books. He often hosts charity events, BBQs, friends and over 90+ international students, cooking various Jamaican dishes. Two interesting facts about Dr Brown are that he is a twin (Boy and girl) and has travelled to more than 20+ countries.
