Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I am a retired health professional enjoying my family, reading writing and still researching much about world events.

When and why did you start writing books?

I retired from Nursing/Counseling in 2012 after a back fall and knee injury. Due to this and unable to run around a busy E.R. department I began to write.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I have always had an active mind. Having been a registered nurse and a professional counselor I decided to use my skills to write books that uplifted the reader to a happier place. As a Christian my stories are to build hope, Inspiration and encouragement.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

"The Mystery Healer of Smoky Mountain" is likely my favorite. My husband and I lived near the great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and I love the history and flavor of the area. My main characters are Marni, a young woman who has suffered hurt and a doctor she meets and falls in love with.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

My husband's story as a Vietnam Veteran was the hardest story I have written. He was my second husband and the love of my life. He was killed in Nashville, TN on his motorcycle in 2022. He suffered from PTSD from his war experiences but had had much hardship in his life before that. He received the Purple Heart for war injuries but was the sweetest man and always looked out for the god of others.

Who is your favourite author and book?

As an avid reader I have very many. I think my all-time favorite is the Classic old book that belonged to my grandfather. called, "In His Steps." This book was written in 1896 by Charles Sheldon.

What book are you reading right now?

I have just finished reading a light Christian romance, "The Veiled Bride." by Eliza Hutchins.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

As a spiritual Christian I believe that God gives the ideas to me. They just come and I write as given.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I study my Bible and am here for family. I take the time to listen much to others when asked for my professional advice. I play computer games that help my mind and enjoy time with my three dogs.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Yes. My next book in the making is about a young Italian woman married by proxy to an American Mafia Don's son she has never met. It will be out in the coming months. The name of this book is "Secrets and Serendipity - Though Art My Hiding Place."
