ABOUT THE AUTHOR

After getting her B.A. in English, Georgia Zola was the head writer for a supplemental educational publishing company creating resources used by many public schools throughout the United States. She also has experience teaching preschool age children within the public school system, as well as teaching adults basic skills at the community college level. She is currently a children’s book author, a homeschool mother of two, and a caregiver.


Georgia Zola is a lifelong student who is always excited to learn new things! She enjoys reading about various topics including psychology, the emotional health of children, African-American literature, Shakespeare, romance and horror fiction, and minority studies. Her favorite reading material, however, includes the classics and she and her husband read and reread classic masterpieces together each evening. Her favorite book is Moby Dick, by Herman Melville.


When she isn’t reading, writing, or homeschooling, Georgia Zola enjoys supporting her husband’s heavy metal band, going to local concerts, going out to dinner, dance lessons at her local community center, opera, wine, and her flower garden.


She lives in North Carolina with her husband, their two children, her parents, two cats, and a dog!
