ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I was born a Capricorn in 1976 and am stubborn by nature. The inclination for freedom and faraway places struck me early on and travelling has always accompanied me through life. Originally, I did an apprenticeship as a businessman in a travel agency, until I quickly realised that I wanted to experience something else. Via detours, I ended up in IT, where new challenges await me every day. After I successfully completed my university diploma as a digital marketing specialist, I wanted to devote myself more to the things that seem important to me. Bonsai, for example, is a big part of my life, because the little trees have been with me since childhood. Flying and boating are also fixed elements that I need like the air to breathe. As I often used to write for magazines of all kinds, I would now like to do this more in the form of books and guidebooks. Most of my strengths are definitely in training and sharing experiences that I would like to give to people. Be it personality development, making money online, politics, hobbies or non-fiction books on leadership. I hope that you enjoy my work and that I can inspire you and maybe even make you smile a time or two.

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

Beside of writing, I am a typical swiss boy who loves the nature. My hobbies are flying lightsport aircrafts, setting sail with a motorboat on the swiss lakes and love my bonsai trees and my garden deeply. My biggest passion is travelling, which I ve learned in an apprentenceship many years ago. I think travelling teaches you a lot in life with all its aspects.

When and why did you start writing books?

I started even as a small kid and kept going. Finally I found that I should give selfpublishing a try in 2020 and it worked out very well until now.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I always wanted to bring joy and information to readers. As I am interested in many things, my books are about travelling, bonsai, selfdiscipline and personal development.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

It's easy to answer, it's "Bonsai for men". It was my first book with all its inperfections and mistakes. Funnywise it's one of my best selling and many people write me, that they even love the inperfection, because it makes the book look human and written by heart.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

I would say that was the selfdicipline book, because it felt all very personal with all the experiences I've had so far in life.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I don't have a favourite book to be honest, I always choose them by topic and interest. But I love the independent authors most, because they all write from the bottom of their hearts and try to bring the best out of it.

What book are you reading right now?

A radio control book about planes, pretty theory stuff :-)

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

in the garden, in the plane and by smoking cigars.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

spending quality time with my wife

Do you have any new books in the works?

Yes, it will be about travelling again
