ABOUT THE AUTHOR

After working for many years in the country club industry and a few other sectors. I worked 65-plus hours a week and was always on the front lines and back of the house. My Wife and children didn’t see me much as I spent long days and nights at work. My wife always says you run the country club, and I run the house! I’ve since retired and decided to write about gossip I‘ve seen and heard. This is where I begin my adventure into the next part of my life. It was an area I disliked a lot about people. I found that gossip and lies can create funny stories and troubles. Gossip about corruption, lifestyles, sex, scandals, racism, drugs, lies, and politics is found on all levels and classes. So, I decided to put those stories on paper. I’ve always kept my head up and never let anyone degrade me, not even for money. I believe that personal ethics should always come first. I watched out for gossip, as it can hurt many folks—even though it seems so harmless! I have done several group meetings about gossip to keep us from hurting others, and I hope it helps people grow and think about others.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I felt it captivating to put tales that blend the elegance of exclusive settings with the gritty reality of human flaws and societal issues. My characters navigate webs of mystery, corruption, and scandal, revealing secrets that lurk beneath polished facades. With an atmospheric writing style, readers in my stories can find where every detail matters and every revelation astonishes them.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Jeff - I try to excel at creating multidimensional characters, each with its flaws, secrets, and motivations. My favorite protagonist, Jeff, is particularly engaging. His inquisitive nature and grounded perspective make him relatable, while his role as an insider provides a unique lens into the worlds he explores.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

The Silent Accord refers to an unspoken, shadowy agreement that governs the intricate power dynamics within the city in Silent Accord. This agreement isn't a formal document but a deeply rooted understanding among influential individuals, politicians, business leaders, and social elites who shape the city's destiny from behind the scenes. The Accord ensures that these power players protect their mutual interests, maintaining a delicate balance of influence, wealth, and control. While it avoids the spotlight, its effects are felt everywhere, dictating policy decisions, economic ventures, and even conflict resolution. Those who abide by its unspoken rules are rewarded with prosperity and protection, while dissenters or whistleblowers face swift and often silent retribution. Jeff, the protagonist, becomes entangled in the Silent Accord as he digs deeper into scandals surrounding the city and the country club. With Nate's guidance, Jeff uncovers the depth of this agreement, realizing that its tendrils extend far beyond the club, influencing the lives of everyone in the city, whether they know it or not. Ultimately, the Silent Accord represents a pervasive corruption but also the fragile order that its existence sustains a paradox Jeff must navigate as he seeks justice and truth.
