Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I live in Italy, near the sea that inspires my poetry. I bike and photograph natural landscapes. I practice yoga and am flexitarian when it comes to food. I like opera and something totally opposite like rock music.

When and why did you start writing books?

I have been writing since I was a teenager, but I have only recently published.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

When I was successful in literary competitions, I thought I had a style that many people appreciate.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

"Coffee and Tea", undoubtedly is my favourite. It is a collection of poems in theatrical dialogue between two lovers belonging to different cultures. I studied the symbolism of herbs and flowers and introduced very evocative and spiritual passages into the verses. The language used is Italian, but I hope to translate into English in the future.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

"The Freedom I Deserve" is very personal, expressing my personal point of view. It was brave of me to use a modern style for fiction books, with spaces that follow the flow of my mind. Not everyone understood it and thought of some typos.

Who is your favourite author and book?

Among the classics, Pride and Prejudice, Jane Eyre and The Scarlet Letter, I enjoy reading. I often read works by modern and independent authors.

What book are you reading right now?

I am actually reading a book of poems, given to me by the Spanish author.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

The main descriptions refer to places I have visited, but sometimes I study and look for information about situations I have not experienced. My feelings encapsulated in each character or words are totally sincere and real.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Reading, going to the movies or theater, listening to the radio, posting on Instagram.... I know they are very different from each other, but I like leisure activities and challenging ones.

Do you have any new books in the works?

I am working on a fantasy book set underwater. I am studying the fauna and flora of the Mediterranean Sea.
