John Hushon

John Hushon is a Brown University-educated and Harvard Law School-trained attorney. He practiced international corporate law with large firms in Washington, D.C., New York, and Budapest for many years. During that time he provided advice on many of the largest international corporate restructurings, acquisitions, joint ventures, and project financings of the late 20th Century. In 1995 he became CEO of the international subsidiary of a US domestic energy company which, under his leadership, grew into one of the largest in the world. He took early retirement, did free-lance management consulting, mostly for not -for-profits, and enrolled in theological graduate studies. With full-time studies at Washington Theological Union and summers at the University of Notre Dame, he received a Master’s in Theology, then began work on a doctorate, focusing on Christian and Jewish Sacred Scripture and First Century History in the Levant. He is a frequent lecturer and has taught various courses at the university level. This is his first attempt at historical fiction.
