With over 20 years in the publishing industry, Kerrie Flanagan is a seasoned writing consultant, speaker, instructor, and freelance writer. Flanagan is the author of "The Writer's Digest Guide to Magazine Article Writing" and the mastermind behind the Magazine Writing Blueprint, showcasing an impressive portfolio that includes nine published books. Her articles and essays, featured in notable publications like Writer's Digest, The Writer, Alaska Magazine and six Chicken Soup for the Soul books, highlight Flanagan's versatile writing prowess. As the founder of Northern Colorado Writers, Flanagan led the group for a decade, organizing annual conferences and retreats. With a passion for teaching, Flanagan served as a conference coordinator for Writer's Digest, Writing Day Workshops, and the Wordsmith Institute. Having worked with countless authors through classes and consultations, Flanagan's expertise has been shared at writing conferences nationwide and in continuing studies classes at Stanford University. When not writing, Kerrie enjoys hanging out with family and friends, fly-fishing, and spending time in the great Colorado outdoors.
