Linda Carl

L. B. Carl spent her professional career as an executive assistant to politicians and administrators in government and public health. Her favorite “therapy” while working full time and raising two kids as a single mom was creative writing. Now, she’s left behind the nine-to-five world to focus on her passion. Although her genres vary, her audience is primarily young adults and new adults (and anyone who remembers being a young or new adult). She has a B.A. in psychology and a minor in women’s studies from the University of Washington. She grew up in Washington State and now splits her time between the Pacific Northwest and the Midwest (and the occasional cruise). She loves coffee, chocolate, and power metal tunes, and she plays a mean game of Scrabble.
