ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I am a relatively new Canadian author who enjoys sci-fi, videogames, antkeeping, etc My secret dream is to use my writing and end up making at least one person happy, to make it worth it, and to never be a problem in anyone's life :)

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I am a homebody who grew up in a very rural area. While I enjoy nature, I like to spend a lot of time by myself with my entertainment and with small groups of friends. I am very introspective, but a bit of a goofball.

When and why did you start writing books?

I started in 2010 or so, first with poetry, then I wrote pages and pages of stories, myths, and legends for a friend's D&D world. Eventually moved to books not long before Covid.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

Not as a career, I consider myself an amateur author. I do it because I enjoy it, it is a creative outlet, just like DM-ing a game. Perhaps, once I am more successful, ill consider it more importantly.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

I'll go with Universe 333, with Zeenox. If only because of the development the character got, at least in my mind as I wrote him. He was meant to be the villain originally. Universe 333 is a pet project that dates back to 'high school' in concept.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

Probably the Cretaceous Human(ts) Extinction, because I wanted it to feel somewhat realistic, but also include some more sci-fi elements that alter the world around them.

Who is your favourite author and book?

Jack Vance as the author, but as far as favourite book, that is hard to pick, possibly 'The Voyage of the Space Beagle'.

What book are you reading right now?

The rediscovery of man, the demon princes

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

Dreams, random inspiration from concepts I randomly toss together as a joke, my community.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

Antkeeping, writing, video gaming, watching stuff, trying new activities, and hanging out with friends.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Yes, currently working on a fantasy novel where healing magic is restricted to a specific faction. There is a mystery about a main character being able to open portals, something which is normally reserved for the eldritch creatures. The power system is built and used a bit like it would in an anime, but the rarity of metal makes being a warrior too expensive for most...
