ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I'm a mother, grandmother, spiritual coach, psychic medium, hypnotherapist, and energy healer. With all the things I have done and accomplished, the best part of my life has been sharing life with my grand-daughter. She has put more hope, joy, love, and laughter in my life than I ever thought possible. Building a strong relationship with spirit has truly changed my life. My faith has been challenged and strengthened, but my experiences in life have shown me the truth of what this life is truly all about. This journey has truly been awe-inspiring and something that I never thought possible. I still hold true to who I am with all my little quirks and goofiness. Writing is a way for me to escape the stresses of this world and create my own!

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I am a mother to a firefighter/EMT son and grandmother to a 16 year old granddaughter; both of whom are my whys. I love photography and traveling, but I also like staying at home to binge watch true crime documentaries.

When and why did you start writing books?

I didn't start putting my stories down on paper until 2012, but I was creating these stories since I was a teen. I love writing because it puts me into a whole different world; one that I create!

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I decided to put my stories onto paper so they could come to fulfillment. Writing is something I truly enjoy. I love the creation of different characters and scenarios. I don't see it as a job that needs to be done, but one that I have a duty to perform so others can enjoy my work.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

While Janie is still one of my favorites from the La Cosa Nostra series. Grace from my upcoming book Saving Grace, is quickly becoming my new favorite. Well, her and Luca. I just love Luca!

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

I'd have to say Fallen Arrow because I was writing it in first person, which I'd never done. I also used bits of pieces of my own life experiences as well as others to make this book flow. Deciding what experience would go where in the book was a bit challenging at times.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I don't have one particular favorite book or author. There are so many great authors that it is hard to pick one.

What book are you reading right now?

I am currently not reading any books because I am in the process of writing. When I am writing, I don't read any other books.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

I get all of my inspirations from life experiences and music.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

In my spare time I like taking various nature photographs and spending time with my granddaughter, Sunshine, as I call her. I also like binge watching true crime documentaries or podcasts.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Yes! I actually have two books in the works with one getting more dedication than the other. Saving Grace is the one I work the most on and Rising Arrow is a follow-up to Fallen Arrow. However, I have not done much to it other than a brief outline. The ideas and story for Saving Grace are coming in fast.
