ABOUT THE AUTHOR

I'm just a guy who always enjoyed writing, and for years I knew that I had a novel in me. Well, it turns out that I had more than one, and hopefully plenty more to come. That first one opened the dam, and because it was such a blast to write, I decided to continue.

I love wordsmithing, and take great pleasure in delivering scenes with an impact, especially when I can punch the reader in the gut when they least expect it. So far, my books have all been psychological thrillers, but make no mistake about it; there's also humor scattered throughout all of them. We can't always take ourselves seriously!

As for interests, well, mine are all over the map. I enjoy writing (obviously), guitar playing, track mixing, riding my Harley, shooting my guns, computer graphics, faux finish painting, walking at times, weightlifting at times, and several other assorted interests. There is an entire world within each of these endeavors, and it would take a lifetime to cover it all.

Music in particular has been a big part of my life, and I've played guitar since my teens. And yes, I can play "Eruption!" Thanks for asking.

I'm an Air Force vet from several years ago, and that's where I learned my love of computers. They've certainly come a long way since then. And that's why I'm an IT professional by trade, and have been for several years.

I was born and raised in rural Fayette County, Alabama, and I now live in Knox County, Tennessee. I'm a widower with two sons, and raising them has been both challenging and rewarding. One thing I've tried to instill in them is to find their own way in life and seek their own happiness, because that's elusive enough without any pressure from me.

I write for one reason: to give the reader something they haven't experienced before. That has become increasingly difficult, considering the myriad of books on the market, but if there's one thing I treasure, it's uniqueness. I try to break new ground as much as I can.
