Richard S. Omura

I am fortunate to have come from two cultures, Japanese and American, enabling me to see how words and actions are so strongly influenced by the box of culture and tradition. In a society where people have difficulty seeing the forest for the trees, I have a unique ability to see both the trees and the forest. My background and origin seems to have designed me just for this purpose for I am constantly searching the horizon for answers to questions that are about to be posed.

My experiences in the world have enabled me to come up with fresh new perspectives in my creative works in literature, music and art. I have delved into transcendental states of consciousness and discovered insights into myself and the universe with explorations into religion, spirituality, science and philosophy. I bring to my work a lifetime of experiences in various disciplines and sources of insight.

I am extremely creative and my life has been an experiential adventure. I have swam with dolphins, surfed beautiful waves in Hawaii, California, and Mexico, communicated with whales, been in Hollywood films, played Eskimo baseball with Inuits, lead video crews to over 40 states, have composed, recorded and produced original music, have written seven books, six screenplays, been a radio DJ and copywriter, have gigged in various clubs in Los Angeles with my blues bands, been a nightclub manager, am an award winning artist, and currently work to create uplift media for the world.
