Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I am an aspiring author, poet, and blogger. My first work is a poetry book titled “The Poetic Pacific.” I am now working on my second book which is the full account of the story captured in my poetry book. They are both about an experience I had when undertaking a journey into an all too powerful, secretive, and mysterious world known as the Mind Reading World. When I am not writing, I love to listen to music and hang out with family and friends. I have a background in public policy which I am most passionate about. And I am also currently working as a Quality Assurance Analyst with an IT firm.

When and why did you start writing books?

I started writing poetry to describe specific moments of feelings, emotions, thoughts, and imaginations I was experiencing. The actual motivation and the underlying circumstances that prompt me to become an author can be best explained firstly, by getting to one of William Wordsworth’s famous quotes where he states; “Poetry is the spontaneous overflow of powerful feelings: It takes its origin from emotion recollected in tranquillity.” I was in a similar kind of circumstances described by William Wordsworth; where I write poetry to communicate certain moments I recollected in tranquillity. These tranquil moments were a special kind of experience I was having, where I was being elevated mentally from an ordinary state of mind to a higher state of mind, a state of mind that is made up of a new kind of world that is too powerful, secretive, and mysterious. So the main reason I am writing is that I want to communicate this high state of mind and that newfound world to the rest of the world. I am in fact, driven by an inner mental calling! The calling that recognizes writing as the source of light of the mind. Writing is an important skill and I use it as a tool to translate the thoughts, ideas, and dreams from the threshold of my imaginations to relate to the rest of the world, this newfound world.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

The main reason I decided to tackle writing as my career is because I want to communicate this higher state of mind and that newly found mind reading world to the rest of the world. It is like I also feel that I am the only one that bears the responsibility to communicate to everyone this newfound world. Writing is an important skill and I see it as the only way I can relate my experience of that world for other people to know about that world. I write not because of my other interests, but because I am driven by an inner mental calling! It is a tool I am using to interpret, understand, and communicate the complexities of this newfound world to the rest of the world.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

I don’t think I have a specific character to favour in my first book because it is a poetry book. But in my second book, I surely will have one which I am still writing.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

I think my second book titled “The Mind Reading World” which I am still writing will be tougher than the poetry book “The Poetic Pacific” because I am relating the actual stories and events mentioned in the poetry book in a book form. And also there will be more writing materials about the world I am introducing in my work after these 2 books. This is because it is a new kind of thing and there will surely be more demand for written works or documentation.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I did come to really like the character first then I actually began to know the Writer, and not, the other way around. Since my childhood days, I really loved to read detective stories and the “Sherlock Holmes” character was one of my favourites. But I didn’t know the author until recently when I was asked to give the name of my favourite author. So my favourite author will probably be Sir Arthur Ignatius Conan Doyle who has written some of the best detective’s writers of that time.

What book are you reading right now?

Actually, I am writing now and I will not have any time to read?

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

This question is similar to questions 2 and 3 but I hope I am not repeating myself here again. It’s like that; the source of information or ideas for my book was mainly from a special kind of experience I had, which I recollected in moments of tranquillity, and I write my poems to describe them. Those special experiences I had was like that; I was being elevated from an ordinary state of mind to a higher state of mind, where I can read other people’s minds and where they can also read my mind. That higher state of mind is what I define as the dream world or the mind-reading world or, where one’s thoughts, ideas, or dreams can be read and understood by another person, without them telling you directly by words. So the main source of information or ideas in my book is people, places, and things in this mind-reading world or dream world. I give this name ‘Mind Reading World” to define and describe this newfound world, where I was being introduced to and where people live by reading other people’s minds. It is a rather strange, powerful, secretive, and mysterious world and it is explained in my book.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I really love to listen to music. I feel music is the biggest part of me.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Yes! I am currently writing my second book which is on its way.
