ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sheri Henry, born in 1961 in Arcadia, California, experienced a childhood marked by frequent moves between California and Oklahoma.

When she was young, her grandmother tried to explain to about all her grandparents. She explained that her dad’s mom, who lived in Oklahoma was Grandma Eula. Her dad’s stepdad was Boompa. Her grandmother's mother was Grandma Mary. Her mom’s dad’s parents were Grandma and Grandpa Olmsted. And she should call her grandma and grandpa just Grandma and Grandpa. She called them Just Grandma and Just Grandpa for years.

Marriage came early, at 19, and brought two children into her life. However, it was the birth of her grandson, Logan, that reignited Sheri's creative spark, prompting her return to writing. Currently involved in Commercial Real Estate, Sheri crafts delightful children's books as a hobby. Leveraging AI programs, she transforms her imaginative visions into vivid illustrations, infusing humor into each story.

Sheri's debut book, "When I Get Older," is available on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. Inspired by her son's childhood, she is diligently working on a board book titled "I Caught a Grasshopper" and her third book, "I Want a New Pet," both set to release this year. Embracing the joy of storytelling and illustration, Sheri continues to share her imaginative tales with readers.
