ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Sheri-Lynn Marean, a Canadian Author, crafts her stories with the same magic she craves as a reader - a spellbinding and electrifying fusion of paranormal and fantasy romance. Stories with great world building, strong female leads and tortured heroes who usually change into some sort of beast. Inspired by authors, shows, and characters she loves, Sheri-Lynn’s 52 Realms are filled with magic, shifters, vampires, witches, and more. Her main series is The Dracones; Cursed & Hunted, with a few spin-off series, one of which is her League of Supernatural Assassins shared world. Sheri-Lynn has twenty published stories. Most of her work is steamy, full of mystery, suspense, twists you won’t see coming, and villains you’ll love to hate. Her desire in life is for everyone to overcome the odds and find their soulmate.

Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I love my family and of course reading, TV shows/movies, horseback riding, seadoing, snorkeling, kayaking, drawing/painting, which I now do mostly digitally.

When and why did you start writing books?

I never thought I’d be a writer, but I used to imagine characters from books, movies, or TV and wonder what if ... I published my first book; Dracones Awakening in 2016

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

in 2008, I read a book that really annoyed me and decided to try my hand at this, but 2 of my 3 kids were very young, so it wasn't until 2014 that I got serious.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Not an easy question, I love most of them, but the few that stand out are Thaniel, he's a sweetie, Tierney & Jax, and strangely enough, 2 brothers that were secondary characters in my Dragon Assassin book, Jared and Jaden. Their stories came to me right away, and I'll be writing them in my League of Supernatural Assassins really soon.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

most of them actually, and for different reasons, but Dracones 1-4 were maybe the most heart wrenching as they all were suffering so much. Though I do make most of my characters suffer, lol

Who is your favourite author and book?

Sherrilyn McQueen (Kenyon) and Acheron.

What book are you reading right now?

Larissa Ione's Latest, Bond of Passion

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

from books, tv, movies, life

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

creating book covers, reading, tv/movies, going out on the lake seadoing or kayaking.

Do you have any new books in the works?

many!!!
