Tell us a little bit about yourself, your hobbies and interests.

I enjoy the retro/rustic things like vinyl records, steam punk art and trains. I collect old lighters and enjoy a cigar on the patio.

When and why did you start writing books?

In 2019 the Pandemic happened and I lost my job. I decided to look at this as a good thing because I could finally write a book like I always wanted.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

I worked at a print/advertising shop for 13 years and learned first hand the skills that were needed to be an author.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Of course it is the "Blessed with Ducks" book. Still to this day I miss them but I can always see them in this book and remember all the fun and crazy things they would do.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

That would be the "Warrior for God" book. It had some very personal things in it but I believe it shows my honesty even in difficult times.

Who is your favourite author and book?

Frank Herbert - Dune - I really enjoy sci-fi books.

What book are you reading right now?

None currently, I don't like to read when I am writing. This way my ideas and story telling does not get influenced by a book I was reading.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

From my wife because without her none of this would have been possible. She gave me this compass that was scribed with "Write the stories that God lays on your heart" in the beginning of my writing and it has been a driving encouragement since.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love water like water art, going to the pool, going to the beach, visiting a waterfall and anything else to do with water except fishing.

Do you have any new books in the works?

The "Warrior for God" book just came out a month ago so nothing new in the works yet.
