ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Vanester M. Williams has been a minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for over 20 years. She is a host/speaker on a weekly broadcast called His Abounding Grace, a program under the ministry of When Christians Speak Talk Radio. She has served as a Sunday School teacher, pulpit and conference speaker, and administrator. She is passionate about encouraging others and teaching them how to strengthen their Christian journey. She is a retiree of the U.S. Federal Government, holds a degree in Biblical Studies, and a Certificate in Biblical Counseling Principles. She is a member of Lifepoint Church, Fredericksburg, Virginia, where she serves as a group leader.


Vanester's first book, The Girl from Chapel Hill: Her Journey of Faith, Forgiveness, and Freedom (published September 2021), was selected as the 2022 "Outstanding Religious/Christian Fiction" Category Winner by the Independent Authors Network.


She enjoys traveling, reading, writing, and family gatherings. She and her husband, Rick, have been married for over 47 years. They are the proud parents of two adult children, two grandchildren, and several godchildren. They enjoy each other’s company and happily reside in Fredericksburg, Virginia.
