Why does this keep happening to me?
For the second time, I've had to quit my job because my boss can't keep his hands to himself.
I've already been blackballed from one career, forcing me to start over, and now I have to do it again.
I have no idea how I'm going to do that, but a trip to Maine to visit my best friend is the perfect place to start. Returning though, brings me face-to-face with the man who's been on my mind day and night for months.

It turns out though, that he has very persuasive ways of getting me to give up the one thing I've held onto with a vice-like grip, dissolving it under his touch. My control.
But I'm the girl who doesn't get attached. So when things get too real, too fast, I do the only thing I can think of. Run.
