Home: A Viking's Heart

 A story about a young Celtic heiress in the mid-10th century A.D. who is being pursued both for her beauty and for her lands. At the time that her home is about to be overrun by her latest suitor's men, she is saved by a very unlikely and unwelcome source, a band of young Vikings. Unbeknownst to her, the leader of the Vikings, met her father about eighteen months prior to this time, and procured a marriage settlement for his daughter with him. Unfortunately, her father never had the chance to tell her about the encounter or the contract. He died without warning after a sudden illness. 

The suitor, an ageing widower is infuriated at both Torben and Eislyn, and at being thwarted in his plans to marry her. He plots to kill Torben and gain back Eislyn as his bride. 

Not only the suitor, but Torben's foster sister, Alva, who is called down from the North when Eislyn refuses Torben's proposal, want the pair broken up, but for different reasons. Sir Jonas to gain Eislyn and Alva to gain Torben. But through God's help, their plot to keep the young lovers apart is destroyed, and the pair find lasting happiness together.
