Dreamer's End

A vigilante and a villain, a retired detective, two ghost hunters, and a fugitive extraterrestrial on the run from an intergalactic police force all living under the same roof sounds like the setup to a strange joke. Unfortunately for Ari Crusoe, this isn’t the case.
A distant relative of Ari’s dies and leaves him the crumbling remains of a historic, once elegant, house. It resides in Dreamer’s End—the bad part of the bad part of town. The only way Ari can afford to keep the house is to rent out the attic and the four extra bedrooms.
Enter the tenants.
Ramón keeps odd hours, coming home in the middle of the night covered in bruises and blood. Lux, quiet and constantly ill, doesn’t seem to know how any modern technology works. Roxanne and Eve are a ghost-hunting duo who are convinced that Ari’s house is haunted. Cormac Halloran, a retired homicide detective, is strangely insistent on moving in despite the lack of accommodations for his wheelchair. And last is Ari’s best friend Margo, who may prove to be the most enigmatic person of all.
