In the enchanted land of Fantasopia, perfect hair and abs of steel were the prerequisites for being a hero. But when the evil wizard Selfus the Vain kidnaps all the robust, beautiful heroes and steals their powers, the fate of Dunbridge falls on the unlikely shoulders of Cedric and his motley crew. Cedric wasn't your typical hero material. He had a potbelly, a bald spot, and had retired from heroism to passionate stage performances with his companion Sir Plume. But with the hero squad gone, Cedric opens "The Academy of Misfits" and welcomes unique applicants. Enter Elara, an elf with arrows that have a mind of their own and a reputation for scaring off birds and shivering trees. Then there's Grog, an orc more interested in "Thirty Hues of Ash" than fighting. And Thrain, a dwarf who believes dirt is overrated and prefers spa treatments and skincare. As they navigate challenges that defy traditional heroism, they realize that Fantasopia needs a new kind of hero—one that breaks the mold and knows the power of a perfectly timed peacock strut.
