The House on the Hill

In the quiet Appalachian town of Ridgewell, animal trainer Lauren Miller's peaceful life is about to be shattered by a nightmare beyond imagination. When the animals at her sanctuary, Paw Refuge, suddenly turn aggressive and unpredictable, Lauren is desperate to find the cause behind this terrifying change.

As the seemingly unnatural event spreads all over town, affecting pets and wild animals alike, Lauren manages to pinpoint the origin of the strange phenomenon. It seems to be the old, abandoned house at the edge of the forest.
The closer animals are to the creepy building, the more irritated they get. Lauren senses that something is off with that place, but she doesn’t have the stomach to tell the sheriff about her suspicions. She knows that the authorities would most likely brush her off as an overly dramatic, superstitious woman.

Just as the spooky situation threatens to overwhelm Lauren, she meets James Mitchell, a mysterious and charming newcomer who claims to have experience with the supernatural. In dire need of an ally, Lauren decides to trust the attractive stranger with her theories about the hellish house on the hill. To her surprise, James not only believes her but offers his help.

While they work on uncovering the mystery behind the plight that has befallen Ridgewell, Lauren and James grow closer. But even James’s support can’t shield Lauren from the deranged evil that is responsible for the terror she and her animals have to endure.

On top of it all, James seems to hide a dark secret of his own. Lauren fears that trusting her brave Prince Charming might have been a grave mistake. As the darkness in the small mountain town intensifies, multiple people disappear under sinister circumstances. When the true beast finally reveals itself, Lauren’s grueling fight for survival begins.
