Effective Way To Weight loss: The Turning Point.

I joked all the time about how working out just wasn't something I enjoyed doing. I used to detest going on walks or exercising my body in any way. I was addicted to fast food and I was as sluggish as the devil, which both contributed to my weight gain. Since I was in high school, I'd been having trouble keeping my weight down. Because of my sedentary lifestyle, I put on a lot of weight, and as my weight continued to rise, I found that I disliked moving around even more.

It wasn't until I went on a vacation with my husband that I realized I couldn't walk for even ten minutes at a time, and I was only 29. After that, I was able to feel a lot more at ease with both my weight and my lifestyle. Because I was unable to walk to the destination, my husband was required to wait at the starting point with me while our other friends made it there. I had a terrible feeling. That event was a significant turning point in my life. I realized that both my body and my lifestyle had become very unhealthy. My goal has never been to lose weight; rather, I want to become healthy enough to be able to walk, jog, run, and soar like a free bird. At that point, I resolved to roll up my sleeves and make a commitment to becoming in shape. In a nutshell, I wanted to get the most out of life while I still had the chance.

The modifications I made to my lifestyle

At first, I cut down my consumption of processed and packaged foods to fifty percent of what I normally eat and began going for 15-minute gentle walks every day. And you won't believe this, but after only 15 minutes of walking and reducing the amount of junk food I was eating, my body began responding favorably. My strength and stamina grew, and my cravings for junk food lessened, all of which contributed to my weight loss.

Beginning with the second month, I devised a well-balanced meal plan that takes into account all of the food categories and is based on the needs of my body. My training regimen now includes running for 30 minutes and yoga for the same amount of time each day, but I didn't cut out any foods other than "food items." My look and my fitness level began changing in a way that was slow and steady for me to notice.

My exercise plan was lacking something, so I decided to add 60 minutes of weight training and jump rope starting in the third month. It dawned on me that I was genuinely having fun with my new healthy lifestyle and my workouts. I enjoyed how, with each passing week, I was able to do a little bit more and move in ways that I had never before believed I was capable of. People around me still have a hard time believing that I am the same girl who was unable to walk for even 15 minutes but who can now run for hours without stopping.

Diet tip to note

I made it a point to eat meals that were high in protein and took the time to thoroughly chew each piece. To tell you the truth, I don't have a favorite meal or snack item. Finding a happy medium is essential to living a healthy life. During my path to a healthier diet and weight loss, I did not exclude any food groups from my diet.
