Money Burning My Pockets

One familiar quote I grew up hearing all the time was: "this money is burning [a hole in] my pocket", which meant: I NEED to spend this little bit of money I have asap. We were taught to make money & no sooner we make/earn it, we spend it. We never saved, never invested, knew nothing about a "rainy day fund" & therefore, [we] stayed broke [or lived paycheck-to-paycheck]. That can change. Too many of our people simply want to escape poverty instead of eradicating poverty. We have to break that generational financial curse. This book is a small token meant/designed to relay [basic] education. In this book, we'll discuss finances from [what some may call] an unorthodox perspective. We'll discuss banking with Black-owned financial institutions, ways to improve our credit [authorized user], couponing, government money owed to you (Treasury Department], starting Black-owned businesses, supporting Black-owned businesses, our [financial] heros/(s)heros, [racial] integration and much more. Let's take this financial journey together.
