THE U.S.S. ENVIRONMENT: REMNANT

In January 2061, newly-inaugurated President Andrea Larsen learns that a recently-discovered asteroid will strike Earth in December 2068 and cause mass extinction. To save her very young, adopted son, Hayden, she sets in motion the political machinery needed to finance the construction of a ship that will take him and a small, diverse crew of young people on their journey to a habitable exoplanet 4.2 trillion light years away.
