Trailing Star (American Post-Civil War Westerns)

Star Holiday is on the run. She was left to tend to a hopeless harvest on her own while her husband, Fletcher, tended to saloon girls, card tables and robbery. To free herself from Fletcher’s cruelty, Star put a bullet in her husband. Now, U.S. Marshal Duke is on her heels. He just doesn’t know Star’s story yet or if he is after the right culprit.
