Dying. I don’t recommend it. And I don’t recommend being resurrected by an affable AI that is arguably more ruthless than even the heartless Colossus to find it has decided that you’ll make the perfect soldier for a war that you weren’t even aware was being fought. But with Sentinel being held hostage, honestly, what choice do I have? Still, even injured and diminished and barely able to recall my past, I know when I’m being played, and boy, am I’m being played. Someone is insisting that I make decisions without knowing all the facts, irrespective that the fate of millions rests on my shoulders. That includes me and as I race toward Earth for my very own date with destiny, the more I learn, the less I think I’m likely to survive. At times like this, it sucks being a Guardian. But really, when has it ever been otherwise?
