THE END OF THE BEGINNING, NEWARK

A group of people are escaping and Extinction Level Event caused by a meteor in a modified Ohio Class Submarine.  They must evade the U.S. Navy, who thinks the submarine is stolen.  They must survive the impact and fight rouge Russian submarines.  Survive a ocean that turns into sulfuric acid and fight hunger.  All this in search of somewhere to start their new world on what seems to be a dead planet.
