Fatal Abuse

Shortly after an old priest stunned viewers of a talk show with a confession about his abuse past, he is found murdered in his home in Rotterdam. At his mutilated corpse, detectives Leonie van de Bergh and John van Kampen find the text written in blood: Filthy motherfucker my childhood was hell. With a revenge motive in mind, the detectives are looking for abuse victims from decades ago in Heerlen. Despite their bad cooperation, they seem to be quickly successful. But they soon find out that nothing is what it seems in this murder case. While investigating a second shocking murder of the old priest's cousin, the puzzle pieces slowly begin to fall into place. When the detectives finally learn the killer's surprising identity, they must do everything they can to apprehend him.
