Death of a Prince, No. 1 in the Lady Lawyer Mystery Series

Criminal defense attorneys Sandra Salinsky and Erma Townley, are hired to defend the alleged murderer of an attorney who called himself the Prince of Personal Injury, since attorney Joe Jamail was the Texas Tort King. It just so happens that the defense team are mother and daughter and often spar over how to handle the defense. Additionally, the decedent was the mother's best friend so she runs the gamut of emotions. As the case proceeds, other characters meet with violence and the defense lawyers wonder whether they can conclude the matter before they become victims themselves.
