Joseph Sackett

Joseph A. Sackett is a seasoned intelligence analyst, distinguished military veteran, and passionate writer hailing from Minnesota. Growing up with a father as an airline pilot, Joseph had the opportunity to travel across the United States, but was primarily raised just outside of Chicago, Illinois.

Following high school, Joseph committed over two decades to military service as an intelligence analyst. His dedication to duty did not end with his retirement. He continued to contribute his expertise as an intelligence contractor for the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC).

Joseph's pursuit of knowledge led him to earn two associate degrees, a Bachelor of Science in Intelligence Studies, and a Master's degree in Advanced Geospatial Intelligence. His academic and professional experiences have culminated in numerous articles and extensive research, particularly focusing on the vulnerabilities of our power grid.

The inspiration to write his first book emerged after listening to a discussion about the potential aftermath of an EMP attack on the U.S. Joseph's intent is to raise awareness about the preparedness, or lack thereof, for such a situation amongst the general population.

When he's not writing or researching, Joseph enjoys studying history, reading books about combat veterans, and giving back to the veteran community. Aside from his professional interests, he cherishes time spent with his two children and fiancée.

From a young age, Joseph has always had a love for writing. Today, he fulfills this passion by authoring books that not only entertain, but also bring awareness to critical situations. This book is a testament to his dedication to inform, educate, and entertain his readers.
