Rich J. Farrell

Technologist, sustainability advocate, business strategist – these are just some of the bios you will find for Rich Farrell in his various media interviews, published articles and speaking events. But above all, Rich is a sales guy through and through. He has spent the last twenty-plus years in the information technology space. He has worn a variety of hats, from IT engineer through to presales engineer, but he made the transition to sales when he realized the folks in sales were having more fun.

From the regional to the national to the global level, sales-wise he has seen and done it all. This, along with experience in starting his own consulting and advisory business for busy C-level execs (which he did during his “career break” – or his “mid-life crisis,” depending on who tells the story), has allowed him to see what separates the great sales people from the mediocre ones.

Now in a senior sales leadership position with a multi-national company in the data center and digital transformation industry, Rich is the father of three children and stepfather of two. He maintains his sanity by surfing, reading about surfing and dreaming about surfing.

He currently resides in Singapore with his wife, his spoiled dog, and his pampered cat.
