When and why did you start writing books?

I've been an avid reader all my life and a journaler. I enjoy writing poetry and always thought that would be my first published work. I would describe my first book as an act of God because I didn't see the topic or genre coming.

What made you decide to tackle writing as a career?

For me 2020 was a year of reflection. I believe the slowness of that year and early 2021 gave me a chance to hear how God was directing my life more clearly. All I can say was ready to deliver His message.

Which one of your books or characters is your favourite?

Invite God Into Your Birth Year because it's my first book.

Which one of your books was the hardest to write and stretched you the most as a writer?

This book stretched me because I've never written a book.

Who is your favourite author and book?

I enjoy John Grisham novels. I love dramas and whodunits.

What book are you reading right now?

While Justice Sleeps by Stacey Abrams.

Where do you get your inspiration for your books?

This book was inspired by God. He married my profession in maternal/oerinatal health and my faith in Christ.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

I love being outdoors. Hiking, observing nature, and just being in the moment.

Do you have any new books in the works?

Right now I'm focused on getting this book into the hands of as many women and families as possible globally. I can't wait to hear their stories about how the message transforms their lives.
