The Astral Gatecrashers: Bad Boy Wizard Book 1

Charlie is no ordinary boy. Charlie has lived before, in the Middle Ages, as a powerful magician – and now he has met his own ghost, who has told him he can be powerful again, if he can find a living magician to train him. Charlie makes friends with Morgan, who lives in the Rainbow Camp, a tent community where people practise an alternative lifestyle. She reveals that her father is a magician. Charlie asks the magician to train him but he refuses, saying Charlie is too young to use magical power. Afterwards, Morgan says she will help Charlie, and gives him a few tips. Armed with too much power and too little knowledge, Charlie attracts a gang of delinquent spirits from the astral plane, who cause chaos in the staid little village where he lives. The villagers blame the Rainbow Campers, and mount a protest to drive them out of the area. Goaded by this emergency, the magician tells Charlie how to get rid of the rogue spirits. It involves summoning Hecate, a highly dangerous Goddess, but only Charlie can do it because he brought the spirits to earth in the first place. However, the magician allows Morgan to help Charlie perform the ritual. Will Hecate send the spirits home, or will she banish Charlie to Limbo for wasting her time? This story can be enjoyed as a standalone or as part of the Bad Boy Wizard series.
