Maddi and Jeriko can't stand each other. The only problem is, Jeriko is about to inherit his uncle's company and be Maddi's new boss. Will Clyde's retirement party be the thing to bring them together, or will they kill each other first?

Maddi loves her job, mostly. The only hinderance is her new boss, the current boss's nephew, Jeriko. They have never gotten along, but when Clyde demands they work together to plan his retirement party, they agree to try to set aside their differences for Clyde. As the planning unfolds, they keep catching feelings neither is sure what to do with, leaving both to fight through their emotions and satisfy their needs elsewhere.
