Forbidden Road

One moment I’m a student at Oxford, the next I’m in ancient Scotland with no memory—and my college boyfriend becomes the ruthless knight who kidnaps me to save his king. College is hard enough, without having to hide that I’m a witch. But my Charge—the human destiny chose for me—is Seth Rivers, the arrogant Olympic fencer who nearly exposes my magic. Just as I start to see his generosity and humor, and we fall for each other, an ancient spell traps me in 500 AD Scotland, erasing my memory. Seth is here too: a knight convinced my father is a traitor. Willing to sacrifice me to save the realm, he steals me away in the night. In the present, witches are disappearing around me and I don’t know if I am next. In the past, as Seth begins to show me his warm side, corrupt mages are taking over. But forbidden magic awakens in me, and I must choose between saving myself, or embracing a power that could save Seth…and doom us both. Perfect for readers who love: – magical suspense – magical underworld – snarky witch who bites back – enemies to lovers – forced proximity – Scottish adventure – witches fairies, dragons
