An eighty year old's poems for a pound

With any animal or machinery, the aging process leads to increasing problems, And yet thanks to the benefits of medicine, in particular, the individual can counter or reduce the ill effects. However increasingly the old are leading very active lives which tap into deeper and wider knowledge acquired.. Major figures inspire, such as the two David's, Hockney and Attenborough. Encouraged by such personalities I have written these poems which explore my thoughts as I move well into my eighties. I hope you appreciate there are benefits to comfort you as well as challenges to be met as you 'mellow'.
