If she can’t convince her employer to accept the cold case and dispel the ghost story plaguing the historic mansion, a grieving mother will not only destroy a piece of history on the anniversary of her daughter’s disappearance but also any evidence of her disappearance and the tenuous connection to Jayde's past.

Complications arise when an FBI agent connects Jayde to the contents found in the pocket of a John Doe who was recently killed by an impossible kill shot. Jayde's team, a mismatched trio of herself, her best friend and archeologist, Mandy, and Ashton Michaels, the Echelon Firm's socially challenged genius, will have to dig deep into the lives of past and present suspects to uncover secrets many want to remain hidden.
