“Man is made in God’s image.” For centuries, the value of this simple idea has asserted itself through religion, art, philosophy, and mathematics. Pythagorean mathematics and Leonardo Da Vinci’s Vitruvian man are two examples of mankind seeking to understand its relation to the divine. If we are made in God’s image, what do our two feet represent? What is the divine equivalent of us walking?

I associate the right and left foot with two distinct movements: one of exploration and one of integration. In an effort that aligns with Roberto Assagioli’s psychosynthesis, this book aims to facilitate the integration of the various elements of one’s psyche. In order to do so, the reader is invited to explore the archetypes of the Laborer, Merchant, Warrior, and Sage. These are respectively associated with the physical body, subtle body, soul, and spirit. The objective of any integrative approach is to allow these various forces to “get along” with one another.

The first part of this work presents a method of reframing negative beliefs which stem from those conflicting inner relationships. This is the right foot in action. The second part is about tapping into one’s true essence, the place where these forces are never separate. This is the left foot in action. By going on this divine walk, one inevitably reaches their destination: home.
