Eighteen-year-old Eve McGinty has been identified by the pundits as the girl most likely to smash through the glass ceiling of Formula Two stock car racing. But can she prevent her unruly heart from interfering with her professional goals?

To fill the void left by her recent broken relationship, Eve launches a new business venture with her racing colleague, Jo, and throws herself into what she expects to be a light-hearted, no-strings-attached fling with another stock car driver. Back at home, Eve’s flatmate Quinn isn’t dealing well with the emotional pressure of his mother’s advancing terminal illness, while out on the track unresolved tensions with her previous boyfriend are spilling over. As the stresses of the year increase, Eve needs someone to love her unconditionally, but is it wise to let a new man into her heart?
