Scarred from what investigative journalist, Kat Beckman, saw the Sauk Valley Killer do to his victims, she is holding on… barely.

When Kat gets a call from a source that tells her sensitive Navy weapons technology is about to be sold on the open market, she has to figure out who is behind it and why. The technology will change the face of American military operations forever, that is, unless someone else gets it first.

On the hunt, her source disappears, leaving Kat with more questions than she’s prepared to answer.
