The Devil's Beauty

Detective Inspector Carter returns to work after the brutal death of his wife at the hands of psychopath Adrian Ashley-Thornhill only to find that he has another murder to attend to. A young girl’s body is found badly mutilated not far from the beach where Carter’s wife was murdered. Part of the ritual performed on the dead girl suggests the act of sacrifice through Devil worship. Three days later, another body is found. This time it is the daughter of Plymouth crime lord Jimmy Whiteford. Thinking that it could be one of the rival gangs, the gangster makes it known on the TV and Press appeals that he will find out who took his daughters life, and that he will make sure they will pay. The Police now question their own investigation. Are the murders gang related or are the killings part of what they originally thought of being a ritual act of Satanism targeting beautiful girls? DI Carter and his team of Detectives have to find those responsible before Jimmy Whiteford does. Before war erupts in the streets of Plymouth.
